Using ZINAKA Books.

01Using the app

These terms are between you and ZINAKA, Zimbabwe ("we"). By using ZINAKA Books (the app on a phone, in a browser, or on a shop till) you agree to them. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.

02Your records

What you enter belongs to you. You're responsible for it being yours to enter, including other people's names and details (customers, workers, children in a daycare), and for having their permission where it's needed. You let us store and process it only to run the app for you, as the privacy policy describes.

03Your account

You can use the app without an account; your records then stay on your phone, and if the phone is lost they go with it. With an account, keep your password private, and tell us if you think someone else has used it. You're responsible for what happens on your account and on the shop tills you pair with it.

04Pro and payments

• Pro adds extras such as other months, reports and insights. The price is shown in the app before you pay.
• Pro runs for the months you pay for, from the day the payment is checked. It doesn't renew by itself and nothing is taken without you paying.
• When Pro ends, the extras stay for a week, then hide. Nothing you've logged is lost.
• If a payment went wrong (for example, paid twice), write to us and we'll put it right.
• We may give Pro free to some people, for example during testing.

05Figures and the tax estimate

The app adds up what you enter. The figures are only as right as what goes in. The tax estimate is a guide to what you might owe, as a document you check; it isn't a tax return or professional tax advice. For tax, legal or financial decisions, check with a qualified adviser.

06Fair use

Don't use ZINAKA Books for anything unlawful, to harm others, or to break, overload or get around the app's protections, and don't use other people's accounts. We may suspend an account that does.

07Our responsibility

We work to keep the app running and your records safe, with backups so nothing is lost. But the app is provided as it is, and we can't promise it will always be available or free of mistakes. As far as the law allows, we aren't responsible for losses that come from relying on the figures, or from the app being unavailable. Nothing in these terms takes away rights the law gives you.

08Stopping

You can stop using the app at any time, download your records with Export, and delete your account in Settings › Your account. If we ever have to close ZINAKA Books, we'll tell you in good time so you can download your records.

09Changes and the law

If we change these terms, we'll update the date at the top and tell you in the app if the change matters. These terms are governed by the law of Zimbabwe. Questions: info@zinaka.co.zw.
